FOR SCHOOLS AND YOUTH SPACES

Let's raise

young creators

Neramioji klasė – a bridge between

schools and the audiovisual industry.

We invite schools, youth centres and youth spaces to join Lithuania's national platform for pupils' audiovisual creativity. Pupils can create on their own or in teams, explore topics that matter to them and to society, and experience the whole creative process first-hand, from the idea to presenting the work.

Why does this matter at school?

Pupils see visual content every day and share videos and other digital content. As media users, they need to understand how audiovisual messages are made, judge them critically and create responsibly.

In Lithuania's general curricula, digital competence includes the ability to create and share digital content safely, critically and ethically. Media art is presented as an interdisciplinary field of audiovisual art covering photography, animation, cinematography, videography, internet art, digital art and other contemporary media arts.

Neramioji klasė provides a practical space to apply these skills by creating real audiovisual works.

Practical and flexible activities

The platform's creative challenges and formats can be built into lessons, cross-curricular projects, non-formal education, theme weeks, creative workshops and youth space activities.

Within a team, pupils can choose idea development, scriptwriting, directing, acting, filming, sound and music, animation, editing or presenting the work. This lets pupils with different interests and abilities get involved.

The platform helps pupils get to know audiovisual professions, a professional creative environment and fields of study.

By creating an audiovisual work, pupils learn to turn an idea into a story in image and sound, plan the process, select information, create and edit digital content, work as a team and present the result. They put the principles of responsible technology use, copyright and privacy into practice.

Lasting value

Career discovery

Creative roles and a visible result

When the creative process ends, there is a concrete result: an audiovisual work made by the pupils. Selected works will be presented at the final event – a festival – and at other industry events, and submitted to international youth festivals.

Throughout the creative process, pupils can consult Neramioji klasė coordinators and ambassadors.

Get in touch and we will discuss the best way to take part, the creative formats and the next steps.
